Thursday evening November 17, Piero Lissoni, the legendary Italian designer and architect, presents the new Knoll Avio Sofa in Master Meubel showroom. With his latest design, Lissoni has taken the next step in modular furniture.
The Avio's basis is a steel supporting structure, fitted with anchor points to support seats, backrests and tables. The great flexibility of this innovative approach provides an almost endless number of configurations, from two-, three- and four-seater sofas to chaise longues and combinations with tabletops.
For his design, Lissoni started from his characteristic aesthetically driven research. The functionality and the pure beauty of the sofa are in perfect balance.
The Avio blends perfectly into different settings thanks to its light structure. Cushions are available in various thicknesses and both in a wide range of fabrics and in Spinneybeck leather. All of this makes the Avio a solid, elegant sofa, guaranteeing a comfortable and relaxed lifestyle.
