FEATURES

Ability to adapt: Konzert is a collection of panel, table, seating, and storage elements that can be combined in different ways to create refined and elegant private offices. Highly customisable and reconfigurable, this system anticipates the needs of the evolving workplace.

Power of choice: Konzert offers an expansive statement of line, refined details, and the flexibility to plan for a variety of activities within the private office.

Built-in harmony: Every element of Konzert was designed in relation to the next – the handle designed with the drawer in mind, the drawer with the cabinet, the cabinet with the desk, the desk with the wall panels, and the wall panels with the larger room.

CONSTRUCTION

Available in veneer, Techgrain, woodgrain and solid laminate, woodgrain and solid melamine, and paint – across a broad palette of colors and finishes – Konzert cues new possibilities for expressive, high-performing environments.

Upholstered banquette seating and wall panels are available in a range of textile options.

Integrated lighting gives designers the ability to create tailored client-centric environments.

Classic or tectonic planning: designers have the freedom to configure the shelves and cabinets – which are offered in different heights and depths, with doors and without – both horizontally and vertically. Because of this tectonic versatility, the overall volume is lighter.

FINISHES

Konzert’s flexible configurations and extensive CMF palette further the possibilities for relational design, allowing A&D to choreograph a total interior vision.

Specifiable grain direction is available on this highly customisable system.

Product Story image

Trained as an industrial designer, Dell’Elce’s design approach is to always generate a meaningful connection with the user and to define and foster the user’s interaction with the product. His design of Konzert is based on a very rational grid, which is important for giving rhythm to surrounding space and architecture. However, he uses the grid in ways that allow the system’s components to be configured in ways that feel fluid and free.

“Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was one of the first and most important reference for this project and for me in general,” says Paolo Dell’Elce. “The rigour in his projects and the logic visible in his structures inspired my approach to Konzert.”

Dell’Elce’s main goal in creating this wall-based architectural system was to create a piece of furniture that is interesting and transmitting some kind of emotion. “I’m not interested in furniture, per se,” says the designer, “I’m interested in ideas and the expression of the human being.”
