
Charles Pollock's 1965 executive chair, now considered one of Knoll's most memorable designs, features an aluminum rim that supports the chair both structurally and visually.
Construction
Outer shell: integrally colored, black textured polypropylene
Frame: extruded aluminum with polished, satin or black anodized finish. Steel support plate welded to the frame spans the width of the seat cushion.
Upholstery: Multi-density urethane foam (11.5 cm maximum thickness); button tufting detail.
Arms: seamless, black phenolic plastic
Tablet arm: fold-away tablet with black plastic laminate writing surface and vinyl edge molding (for right-handed application only)
Column cover: polypropylene on pneumatic seat height models; steel with epoxy finish on mechanical seat height models.
Jury Base: 20 cm wide steel base plate with textured black powder coat finish, 6 pre-drilled holes for countersunk attachment screws.
Standard Castors: Hard wheel castors standard.
Replacment Buttons: Set of 6 buttons for one chair.
