Knoll International is proud to launch a new desking system: Wa. The product has been designed by Piero Lissoni and Mark Krusin.
Wa consists of simple height adjustable desks, screens, storage and meeting tables. With its silent design Wa works in harmony with different interiors, with a simple graphic language where vertical and horizontal planes are treated as graphic blocks.
This linear simplicity however, veils an extraordinary
functional capability. But where does the name Wa come from? The
word Wa is used in several eastern cultures. Its meaning has
various interpretations, the broadest of which is harmony. Wa is in
harmony with Architecture, as it is aesthetically understated and
will not demand attention within an interior. Wa is in harmony with
the Body, offering adjustable height, width and depth. Wa is in
harmony with the mind for its intuitive use, as each component
explains itself. Finally Wa is visual harmony, as the visual units
of the various elements, tables, storage, worksurfaces, integrate
freely.
