During Salone del Mobile 2006, the Knoll International showroom in Milan has showcased new KnollStudio products and finishes. The Bertoia Asymmetric Chaise, Brown Emperador marble and the Four Seasons Bar Stool.
Previewed at Salone del Mobile 2005, the Bertoia Asymmetric Chaise is now available in a new finish, white Rilsan, a special coating system. This will enable outdoor use of this beautiful, sculptural chaise.
Brown Emperador Marble is a dark brown marble with random light brown and/ or white veining and inclusions. This new marble option is available for use on the Saarinen and Florence Knoll Collections. Brown Emperador Marble is not for outdoor use.
The Four Seasons Bar Stool was designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1958 for the famous Four Seasons Hotel in New York City. The stool clearly reflects Mies' design and is celebrated for its lean profile, clean lines and meticulous craftsmanship. The Four Seasons Stool has never been mass produced, and the decision to introduce this stool in Europe reflects the Knoll design legacy and commitment.
